Step 01
Receiving & inspection
Aluminium ingots arrive at the factory, are weighed and checked, and are then stored ready for melting.
From aluminium ingot to packed shots and cubes, in seven steps.

Aluminium ingots arrive at the factory, are weighed and checked, and are then stored ready for melting.

The ingots are charged into our furnaces and melted into molten aluminium under close supervision.

Molten aluminium is converted into small, uniform granules: aluminium shots.

Molten aluminium is poured and cast into cube form to make aluminium cubes.

The finished shots and cubes are cooled and dried before they are handled further.

Material is checked for size and appearance, and any off-size pieces are separated out.

Approved material is weighed, packed in bags and dispatched.
